On November 7th, Save the Med Foundation celebrated the 3rd anniversary of Sa Dragonera Island Marine Reserve in Mallorca. The latest monitoring report by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (March 2023) revealed a staggering three-fold increase in the biomass of commercially valuable fish species within the reserve. This remarkable achievement is a result of unwavering conservation efforts by local communities, NGOs and authorities, and a testament to the power of collective action and collaboration in marine regeneration.
